My Style & Approach

My approach to therapy is non-pathologizing and non-hierarchical. I view you as the expert on your own life and will collaborate with you to understand your experiences and the narratives that kept you stuck. Through curiosity and creative questioning, I'll help you separate from your problems, break free from cycles of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt, and move toward a sense of ease, self-trust, and acceptance. In a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space, I will encourage mindful self-reflection and awareness, emotional connection and regulation while supporting you to re-author and reframe your life stories by focusing on your strengths, values, commitments, and future preferences.

My style is eclectic, meaning that I practice Narrative Therapy and other therapeutic modalities, always striving to offer tailored solutions and strategies that suit a client's unique needs, goals, and preferences. I most frequently draw on the following:

Narrative Therapy

Existential Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Key integrations include Polyvagal Theory, Buddhist teachings and mindfulness-based practices.

2SLGTBQ+ Affirming

Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive Practice

Healing-Focused and Trauma-Informed Care

Services

Services are offered in-person or virtual (telephone or secure video).

Meet and Greet Session

Free for 15-30 minutes

This session allows you to share details about your goals and elaborate on any challenges you might be facing. You can learn a bit more about me and my style of therapy, and get a sense of what it would be like to work together. The most important piece is that you leave the session knowing whether or not you feel comfortable and think I am a good fit for you.

Psychotherapy Services

$150 for 60 minutes | $225 for 90 minutes

I offer a safe space that is accepting and non-judgemental so that you can honestly connect with your lived experience, get curious about presenting issues and challenges, increase self-awareness and work towards meaningful change. We will work together to develop treatment strategies and plan an approach that is unique to you; focusing our efforts on your stated goals and preferred identity.

Insurance Coverage

I encourage you to review your employee benefits plan or contact your insurer to find out whether you are covered for services by a registered psychotherapist for psychotherapy or psychological services prior to your first session. I do not provided psychological services.
